It gives viewers God’s perspective and ability to control extreme weather with gestures.
In the In Your Hands project, we chose London, a familiar area that has not experienced extreme weather, as a base location. We tried to use some technologies of touch designer and leap motion to present London in extreme weather: rising sea levels, drought, sandstorms, hurricanes, ice and snow.

Background
When we started our project, we conducted some research and found that according to the World Meteorological Organization, extreme weather has become an extremely serious issue in recent decades. But since we exist as microscopic characters on the earth, it is difficult to truly feel the environmental and social impacts of some extreme weather. So we wanted to try to use this project to convey our call for environmental protection.
Purpose
With the development of cities and society, human activities have an increasing impact on natural weather. This project can help viewers better understand the unpleasantness of extreme weather.
